This policy explains how JobsBD researches, writes, checks and corrects its articles.
Content creation process
- Sourcing: we start from the official notice published by the hiring organisation (its website, the official application portal or a notice published in a national newspaper).
- Writing: a writer summarises the notice in their own words, pulling out the facts readers need: organisation, number of posts, eligibility, fees, key dates and how to apply.
- Review: before publishing, the article is checked against the source for names, numbers and dates.
- Publishing: the article shows the author, the published date and, when changed, the updated date.
Fact checking
Numbers, dates, eligibility rules and links are checked against the official source. When a detail cannot be confirmed we say so in the article rather than guess. We do not publish rumours about recruitment or results.
Corrections
If we get something wrong we fix it promptly. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the article with the date of the change. Readers can request a correction through our contact page.
Editorial independence
Editorial decisions are made by the JobsBD editorial desk. Advertisers, sponsors and organisations we write about do not review or approve articles before publication.
Source attribution
Every job circular links to its original source. When we use information reported by another publication we name and link to it. We do not copy articles from other websites. Images are our own, supplied by the organisation, or used under an appropriate licence.
Sponsored content disclosure
We do not currently publish sponsored articles. If we do in future, they will be clearly labelled “Sponsored” at the top of the article and kept separate from editorial content. Advertisements are labelled “Advertisement”.
Use of AI tools
Writers may use software tools, including AI tools, for tasks such as translation or proofreading. A person is responsible for every article, checks it against the sources and is named as its author.
